DESCRIPTION OF THE CRACKING PROCESSING METHOD


The static burstlining (cracking) method allows to replace damaged gas, main-water, sewage pipelines using an old pipeline path without necessity of earth works (excavations) and without essential interference into existing water-ground conditions.
Vibrations around the replaced pipeline were totally eliminated by applying devices with a fluid drive. This allows applying this method in difficult ground conditions and in a close proximity to other conduits. This method allows to preserve the present pipe diameter or to enlarge it, what will increase the pipeline capacity and improve the whole hydraulic capacity of a system.
The cracking method is applied to the diameters range from Dn80 to Dn250, and to the length of replaced section up to 100 m. The pipeline replacement consist in introduction (with the help of hydraulic servo) of a special, non-twisted (fracture-resistant) rods inwards the existing pipeline (designed to be replaced) and, then, with the use of coupled on the other side a splitting blade, a new pipe is being fed into the existing pipeline path.
The static burstlining method allows to split out the steel, cast iron, plastic, asbestos-cement etc. pipes and to burst it displacing into the surrounding soil. The method based not on cracking, but on total removal of the old pipe is also available.
